March Focus

Dry Brushing is a technique used to create highlights and shading in our designs. Similar to 'floating' colour, it’s a gradual, layered method that requires patience but produces beautiful results.

To develop this skill, we’ll be working with both terracotta pots and watering cans as the subjects, using dry brushing to bring our subjects to life, including a charming pot filled with geraniums. I’ve incorporated a trug from IKEA for inspiration, but as always, you’re welcome to follow along just for the techniques or create your own unique project.
